I was reminded of an old book my brother has about the first world war and pictures of soldiers in their uniforms. I think it's just because they were wearing green jackets and the portraits were taken against a dark background, although their jackets were quite different to the one I'm wearing here. Those brave and gallent men who had been ordinary every day people before they were summoned to fight and die for another man's cause. And like all wars it was pointless and needless. So I reflected on society instead, and how the result of competition fuelled by insecurity and fear are now accepted as most peoples idea of "success" and the victor invariably mistaken with strength. Then I had the idea of an explorer. Exploring motivations, beliefs, ideas, the fundamental essence and nature of everything "I am" dismantling and removing these blocks one by one until reaching the only meaningful destination in this universe - pure love. The true battle is always within. Good luck.
