Narnia just isn't here anymore...
It seems to me great love is a lot like Narnia (from The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis) , where we stumble upon this magical mystical world so that even familiar places seem different and it's as though we've arrived in some kind of parallel universe and we find ourselves in the midst of the most amazing adventure. Then, one day, just like the children in the story we find ourselves back on the other side of the wardrobe door again - back in the real world. Just as the children will always remember Narnia and always miss it, their whole lives are before them in this world, to live in this moment and enjoy every experience here and now, enriched - not poorer for their past - providing they keep looking forward and take with them what they have learned. And of course, the children discovered Narnia in the first place quite by chance, so perhaps one day we might find ourselves back in that magical world once again...providing we keep believing in magic.
